I have to agree with vomit there wouldn’t be euongh noticeable difference between the I7 and the I5 to warrant the extra $$ and it certainly isn’t worth dealing with socket 775 any longer especially having to try and sort out what specific CPU’s a given Mobo will or will not support. . A good I5 will still beat the pants off a lower end I7 so it’s money well spent, and you won’t have to worry about having to upgrade again when the next best game comes out that requires an I5 or greater leaving the 775 s totally in the trash heap.Was this answer helpful?
